At the "Sapporo Medical University Presentation on Medical Needs," a need was highlighted for a device to address the issue of arm instability during CT and MRI procedures, where patients are often required to raise their arms while lying supine. The existing manufacturer-provided equipment was found inadequate in providing stability. As a response, a request was made to develop a "rod" to help patients maintain a stable posture. This led to the development of a CT arm support device, commonly known as "RestAm."
