Aomori Prefectural Government considers the rising consumer interest in health as a business opportunity and supports companies developing health-oriented foods and beauty products that utilize Aomori's regional resources. We will introduce Foods with Function Claims (FFC) and Foods with Nutrient Function Claims (FNFC), among others, that use local ingredients such as apples, blackberries, and shijimi clams. Furthermore, we will exhibit products containing "Aomori PG," a proteoglycan derived from salmon nasal cartilage, for which the extraction technology was established through research by Hirosaki University.
