We have launched our platform for upcycled material development by building a large-scale library of fermentation products derived from a wide variety of microorganisms, using unutilized resources as raw materials. Unutilized resources are compositionally diverse. By utilizing these as starting materials for fermentation, we can create unique fermentation materials consisting of diverse components. While the industrial application of unutilized resources in edible healthcare materials has previously been limited, we are leveraging our established fermentation technologies to create an extremely diverse library of these products and are working toward the commercialization of high-performance materials through upcycling.
